If driving from the Juan Santa Maria International Airport, take the main highway (Carretera Interamericana) going North towards Puntarenas. Stay on the Interamericana for about 10-15 minutes more, until you see an exit for a town (Pueblo) called Atenas. Take this exit and you will see signs for Atenas and Quepos. Continue to follow the signs for Jacó and Quepos as you go through the towns of Atenas, San Mateo, Orotina, Tárcoles (Stop by Tárcoles Bridge to see the crocodiles in their natural habitat) and Jacó.
When driving, follow the signs to Jacó / Quepos.
